Try before you buy: groups

There’s a huge choice of paddles and finding the one that suits your game is difficult without trying first - we know because we’ve been there. We want to help so we’ve introduced a 'try before you buy' scheme. It’s working really well and has helped match up several picklers with their perfect paddle. We know it sounds like a pickle dating service but hey, it’s working so why not give it a go?

We have a different scheme if you're wanting demo paddles as an individual - pick PADDLES / DEMO PADDLES from the menu.
If you’re involved in a pickleball group and have players interested in a new paddle then we’re thinking this matching service is definitely an option for you and your group. We'll loan your group several demo paddles for 10 days so you and your pickling pals can try a few different paddles. There will be a range of prices, brands, shapes, lengths etc and these can be tailored to the specific needs of your group if necessary. We charge £25 for the service which covers the costs of delivery of the paddles to you and back to us after the loan period. When your group places an order we’ll deduct the £25 from your order value - it's a win-win.

  • Fill in the form below and we’ll contact you to work out the best demo paddles for your group and the dates for your demo period
  • Once agreed we’ll send you a link so you can make the payment of £25.
  • Once payment is made we'll ship the demo paddles to you (24hr tracked) and your group can have fun playing with them for the next 7 days. If you need longer please highlight this before the loan period begins.
  • After this period you send them back using the prepaid postage label. All together you'll have 10 days to test the paddles and get them back to us

What happens after the demo period?

  • Hopefully your group will decide to buy some of our smashing paddles and we’ll give you a code to deduct the £25. How you order is up to you – we can give you a code to pass onto your group so they can order individually. Otherwise you can pull together a group order and we can ship them all together.

  • If you’re still unsure about the paddles, we’re happy to discuss what you liked/didn’t like about the paddles and hopefully recommend some different options.

  • Sorry, if you don’t purchase a paddle from us at the end of the demo period, we won’t be able to refund your £25 but hopefully you’ll have enjoyed the experience of trying out different paddles and by then you’ll love us and want to buy from us in the future.
